Tonight is my second night in Limberry. The Daguerro library is massive- to be honest, I could be quite happy to spend weeks learning the history of this world. I have a feeling it might be valuable, but only in an abstract way. I actually fell asleep in there the other day, and the librarians had to wake me and help me out.

My decision to come here was well founded. As I hoped, there is a wealth of information here that is vital to our situation. The history of the conflict is the first thing I looked up- from what I gathered, this War of Heaven Lost as it is called, was a short and brutal victory for Dartian, the people Yuuko-san called us here to fight. More specifically, their rulers, the Abonist party, and their King, Ansem.

The King's history is a strange one. Up until recently he had been benevolent and as peaceful as any King could be- now he's conducting experiments, waging wars, and kidnapping people?

Something's wrong. I have an odd feeling about this King. There's more to this than meets the eye... more than this library can tell me.

Another thing of interest was the disappearance of the ruler of Centinon, their "Pillar", as they call her, the Princess Emeraude. The texts say she is what holds Centinon together, and keeps this place happy. But lately, the state of the country seems to be deteriorating... does that mean this Princess is also deteriorating?

Do Yuuko and Clow want us to save this Princess? Is she the key to this whole incident?

There's one other bit of information I think might be useful. One text mentions a town called Silent Hill, and how it was once the staging ground for the Abonist experiments. It's abandoned now, but there has to be something.

Maybe there I can find some answers.

I'll head there in a few days to see what I can find.

My apologies, but I need to take a short leave of absence from my duties at the Twilight Cafe. Some personal business has come up and I need to see to it right away.

I hadn't found the time or the cause to write in here yet, but now seems as good a time as any.

Kurogane found me today. Nill was the one who helped him find me- just as we promised. Its my turn now- I should have focused more of my energy on finding Nill's friends too. She's such a nice person, I'm sure there are plenty of people worried about her.

He said Fai is somewhere in the area too. It's strange I haven't felt his magical aura anywhere. He must have hidden it.

Why would he do that? Does he not want to see us? Or is he trying to protect himself? After all, Yuuko did say that people here were forbidden to use magic. Or maybe he's with the Princess, and hiding himself and her to protect them.

I'll have to ask him when I see him.

And once we're all together... what then? We can't leave this place, not now. Olette has been hurt by these Abonists, and Nill is probably going to be a target too once they find out about us offworlder's. They wouldn't leave us alone since  Clow and Yuuko who brought us here specifically to fight them.

I can't leave them here to fight this on their own.

Maybe I should find a way to stop them. Then we can all go home. Nill, Kurogane, Fai, the Princess... all of us. And the people of this world like Olette can go back to living their lives in peace.

I'm going to need to know more to stop the Abonists. There's a library in Limberry... maybe I should go there soon.

It's time to stop worrying about just myself. It might not have been my choice to come here, but I can't just walk away now.
